Overview

Russia is at war. There are hardly any Western journalists left. Thomas Erdbrink was given the unique opportunity to travel freely through Russia for a year without visible interference from the authorities. Together with director Roel van Broekhoven, he investigates what it is like to live in a country where war dominates everything and silence is safer than speaking.
