Jin Soo-wan (진수완) is a South Korean television screenwriter born on December 30, 1970. She launched her career in 1996 after winning the KBS Open Screenwriting Contest, contributing early on to the landmark youth series School 1 (1999) and School 2 (1999).
Jin is celebrated for writing several of South Korea's most popular television dramas. Her major works include the period romance Capital Scandal (2007), the mega-hit fantasy historical series Moon Embracing the Sun (2012), and the critically acclaimed psychological drama Kill Me, Heal Me (2015), for which she won Best Screenwriter at the MBC Drama Awards. Her television credits also include the fantasy romance Chicago Typewriter (2017) and the time-travel youth drama Twinkling Watermelon (2023).
